Varinia Cappelletti originally from Milan, north Italy.

In 1986  She moves in Florence began the University of Florence studying “Archeology and the evolution of food” and received  master’s degree.
The second master dregee was received at University of Siena ( graduation thesis in “Analisi and developement of Local food product, from ancient roman time till today”).
Finally in 2000 her passions of  the culinary arts arrived also for the public. Opens the “Laboratory of Culinary Art” a catering and personal chef service with the goal of the reconstruction of the ancient recipes.

But the creativity and passion to get the upper hand and in 2005 with her husband Edoardo opened the first Gourmet B&B in Florence.

Since then she has been hard at work creating unique dishes with authentic and creatives Italian.

She prepares the meals with local ingredients, original recipes and genuine Italian flare! Since offering the 5 course meals at their B&B, they have received many inquiries to travel to the U.S. and bring their culinary creations!

Edoardo Cecotto is born in Venice where is also grew up.

He’s moved in Florence in 2000 and after University experience (communication) begins soon to collaborate with an important P.R. agency in Florence (worked for the important brands as, Guess and Cotton Belt) collaboration that is finished when decide to starting the B&B in 2005.

Edoardo decide to open the B&B after a great experience in Greece.

Passion for food and sense of hospitality are the perfect combination for a sensational dinner!

 

So in 2009, they began traveling the States. They began their tour with a private dinner in Florida and cooking demonstrations at a high-end appliance showroom in Michigan.

This then hatched their growing U.S. Tour of personal-chef appearances, food educational, private dinners, cooking courses and cooking demonstrations.

White Lily LLC” was launched in 2010 by Varinia and Edoardo.

From 2010  through 2012, they added new cooking demonstrations and private events around USA. This provides true Italian tastes no matter where they travel in the U.S.

Chef Vary’s enthusiasm and passion for cooking is demonstrated in her attention to detail, innovative Italian cuisine and culinary masterpieces!

When you first arrive you may not understand what is awaiting you. …..The cooking lessons, the fabulous meals, wine, music and all are exceptional.

Vary is an excellemt cook and is very passionate about her food and dishes. Eduardo explains the ingredients and how the dish is cooked. They are both wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They as k you beforehand what you do or don’t eat and take it from there. The wine was lovely too!

Chef Vary will cook a unique, delicious meal for you and create a romantic atmosphere you will never forget. My husband and I had a private dinner served by Chef Vary and Edo. There was candlelight and little hearts sprinkled on the table. The conversation and hospitality were also wonderful. We would highly recommend visiting this bed and breakfast to stay in, for a cooking lesson, or just a romantic meal!

We enjoyed a delicious 7 course meal while staying at the Giglio Bianco B&B in Florence. The presentation of each course was excellent, and the food tasted even better! This was a real highlight of our trip–we enjoyed the intimate setting, the detailed explanation of each course, and the evident care that had been taken to ensure that the meal was prepared according to our tastes.

…I found the restaurant on Tripadvisor and loved all of the other reviews. Chef Varinia and her husband Edoardo are the owners …..They are very quick to respond via email when I was making the reservation. We told them that we would eat whatevery they made and we love everything. The whole meal was wonderful. We dined with some friends that we were traveling with. We started off with Prosecco and had unlimited wine throughout the whole dinner. There was a wonderful salad course with fresh tomatoes, argula, and mozzarella cheese. A second salad with avocado, pomegranate seeds, pecorino cheese. A pumpkin soup course. A homemake pasta course with amazing pesto. The entree was a pork tenderloin dish with an orange sauce and the most amazing homemade bread! The dessert course was panna cotta with raspberry sauce. Overall, the dinner was the best we had …

….However, my husband and I did partake in their Special Dinner and Cooking Class. It was by far one of the highlights of our trip. The cooking class was tons of fun and we got taste all the ingredients. Eduardo and Chef Vary also put together a cheese plate with homemade jams and seasoning salts that was unbelievable. The entire meal was absolutely delicious! I cannot eat wheat/gluten and Chef Vary made sure everything was gluten free. She even made fresh past with rice flour! It was a fantastic experience. Chef Vary and Eduardo are wonderful people….

…. had an excellent, gourmet dinner prepared by Chef Vary. The “Tuscan” meal (featuring fresh, organic ingredients) included 3 appetizers, a first course, a second course and dessert . My husband and I agreed that it was one of the best meals that we have ever experienced. The setting is charming ….Chef Vary is a young, energetic chef who exudes a love of cooking. She and Edoardo are the perfect hosts. Plan to include this dining option during …. You will not be disappointed!
